- Mood and Content Data: This is the core of Peko. We collect the moods you log (e.g., "happy," "anxious,"), the text, images, or audio you post, any tags you use, and the associated date/time.
- Profile Information: Information you add to your public profile, such as a display name, bio, age range, and profile picture.
- Communications: Messages you send to other users (as permitted by app functionality) and any communications with our support team.
b. Information Collected Automatically:
- Usage Data: We collect data on your interaction with the App (features used, time spent, pages viewed, your interactions with other users' posts) to understand how Peko is used and to improve it.
- Device Information: We collect information such as your mobile operating system, device type and model, unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFA, Advertising ID for analytics and fraud prevention), IP address, and language settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and Personalize Services: Analyze your mood patterns, generate your weekly mood chart, and curate your feed based on your interactions.
- Facilitate Sharing: Enable you to share content according to your privacy settings (Public, Friends-Only, Private).
- Maintain Safety & Enforce Policies: Enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines (see Section 8), detect and prevent spam, fraud, abusive behavior, and other harmful activities.
- Communicate: Send you essential service announcements, security alerts, and respond to your support requests. We may also send promotional communications, which you can opt-out of at any time.
- Improve and Develop: Analyze trends to develop new features and improve the overall user experience.
- Legal Compliance: Comply with applicable legal obligations.

- To protect the rights, property, and safety of Peko, our users, or the public as required or permitted by law.
- To enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, including investigating potential violations.

5. User-Generated Content (UGC) & Community Guidelines
As a user, you are solely responsible for the content you post. To maintain a supportive and safe environment for our adult community, you must not create, post, or share any content that:
- Is Illegal: Promotes or depicts illegal activities, including violence, terrorism, or child sexual abuse material.
- Is Sexually Explicit: Contains pornography, sexually explicit material, or nudity posted with sexual intent.
- Promotes Harm: Encourages, glorifies, or incites self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
- Is Abusive or Harassing: Contains hate speech, threats, bullying, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Violates Privacy: Shares another person's private information without their explicit consent ("doxing").
- Is Spam or Deceptive: Involves commercial spam, phishing, scams, or impersonation of other individuals or entities.
We employ a combination of automated tools and human moderators to review content against these guidelines. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules and to suspend or terminate the accounts of repeat offenders.
6. Data Security
We implement robust security measures including encryption in transit (SSL/TLS), hashing of sensitive data like passwords, and strict access controls to protect your information. However, no electronic transmission or storage method is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

- Access & Portability: You can access most of your data within the app. You may request a copy of your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format.

- Objection and Restriction: You may object to our processing of your data or request we restrict how we use it, particularly for marketing purposes.
- Opt-Out of Marketing: You can opt-out of promotional communications by using the unsubscribe link in any email or adjusting your in-app settings.
