Terms of Service for Peko

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Peko, a social platform dedicated to emotional expression and connection. By downloading, accessing, or using the Peko mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these comprehensive Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Peko. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must immediately cease all use of the App and delete it from your device.

2. Eligibility and Age Restriction

Peko is designed exclusively for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services. By registering for an account, you explicitly represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and possess the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. We implement age verification measures and reserve the right to request proof of age at any time. Accounts found to be created by minors will be immediately terminated, and all associated data will be purged from our systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

3. Comprehensive User Account Obligations

a. Account Creation: To access the full functionality of Peko, you must complete the registration process by providing accurate, current, and complete information as prompted in the registration form.

b. Information Maintenance: You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy and completeness of your account information and must promptly update any changes to your personal details.

c. Security Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials, including any activities or actions taken under your account. You must immediately notify our support team at [service@peko.life] of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breaches.

d. Account Limitations: Each user may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts may result in immediate termination of all associated accounts.

4. User-Generated Content: Rights, Responsibilities, and Licensing

a. Content Ownership: You retain all intellectual property rights and ownership of the text, images, audio recordings, and other content you create, post, or share on Peko ("Your Content").

b. License Grant to Peko: By posting Your Content, you grant Peko a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform Your Content in connection with the operation, promotion, and improvement of the App and Peko's business. This license continues even after you terminate your account for content already distributed through the App.

c. Content Standards and Prohibitions: You agree not to post, upload, or share any content that:
* Violates any applicable law, regulation, or legal obligation
* Contains pornography, sexually explicit material, or nudity for sexual purposes
* Promotes, glorifies, or incites violence, self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
* Constitutes hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation
* Violates the privacy rights of others (including doxing or sharing private information without consent)
* Contains spam, fraudulent content, or phishing attempts
* Infringes upon any third party's intellectual property rights
* Contains false or misleading information

d. Content Moderation Framework: Peko employs a sophisticated content moderation system that combines automated filtering with human review. We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, screen, edit, refuse, or remove any content at any time for any reason, without prior notice, at our sole discretion.

5. Intellectual Property Protection

a. Peko's Proprietary Rights: The App, its original content, features, functionality, and design elements are and will remain the exclusive property of Peko and its licensors. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws of various jurisdictions.

b. Limited License to Users: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Peko grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use only.

6. Comprehensive Privacy Commitment

Your privacy is fundamental to our service. Our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference, details how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. By using Peko, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy and acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your residence.

7. Termination and Account Cancellation

a. User-Initiated Termination: You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings menu. Account deletion is irreversible and will result in the permanent removal of your content from our active databases, subject to any legal retention requirements.

b. Peko-Initiated Termination: We may suspend or terminate your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or that your continued use poses a risk to our community.

8. Service Modifications and Availability

Peko reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App at any time, including the availability of any feature, database, or content. We may impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of the App without notice or liability.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Peko explicitly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Peko does not guarantee that the App will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Peko, its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
